16 Weeks

I just entered my 16th week and everything is still going smoothly. I feel so lucky to have had very little "symptoms" and no problems at all. I know it's not always so easy!

I had another checkup yesterday and things are well. I had my first cervical check and they said they were looking for a 3 or above and mine was 3.7 and looks nice and strong. The girls are measuring 1 and 3 days ahead. They have skeletons now! It was so weird to see on the screen, they look like little dragons!

Only 3 weeks until I head to Utah for a small family baby shower and get-together. I am very excited to see my family!

The nursery is coming along, it's almost emptied of all our stuff, next up is cleaning the carpets and then we can move the furniture in!!! This is very exciting for me :)

How far along? 16 weeks 2 days
Maternity clothes? Yep!  I bought a bunch more shirts at Target over the weekend. Now I just need more bottoms. I wish other clothes were as comfy as stretchy pants!
Stretch marks? The ones I already had are getting longer, so, yes. :/
Sleep: It's been mediocre, my upper legs and hips have been hurting so I am constantly flipping sides in the night which makes it hard to get decent sleep. My doctor said it's just my body preparing me for the lots of restless nights to come!
Best moment this week: Going to the doc and seeing that everything is going okay! I start to get paranoid after 2 weeks of not knowing what's going on so the last week I was constantly concerned something was wrong. There was...my crazy paranoia! Everything is fine with the babies and with me! Now all my appointments are 2 weeks apart so I think I will be okay from here on out...I make no promises though!
Miss Anything? Sleeping soundly, but that's about it.
Movement: Yes! I am SURE I felt them move twice. Once at night and once the next morning. It was a completely different feeling than anything before. It felt like a giant flop, like a fish inside of me! Just one little flop each time. Nothing since then though.
Food cravings: I wouldn't say I'm really craving anything but eating has become much easier for the most part.
Gender:  Baby girls x 2!!
Labor Signs: Nope.
Symptoms: Headaches, round ligament pain, hard to sleep, it's starting to get hard to bend over or be in certain positions. Still have some food aversions but it's getting better and better. If I let myself get too hungry I feel nauseous. I have been having interesting things happening when I pee. It doesn't hurt or anything but I will have a stretch of a few days where it feel like I have to pee badly but only a little comes out at a time, and then it will randomly go away! I have been eating a lot of yogurt and cranberry juice to fend off any possible infections.
Belly Button in or out? In
Wedding rings on or off? Off :( I feel naked.

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy and excited...mostly!! Sometimes I get nervous and wonder how we're going to pull this off!
Looking forward to: Decorating their room, feeling them move more often, getting a bigger belly.

And here are some pictures from this week!

Belly time.

Check out that skeleton!
If she fits, she sits!

He loves to lay like this and watch the neighborhood.

Hubby gets crazy eyes when he paints. Hahaha!

I go back to the doctor on the 12th for my anatomy scan! Exciting things are happening ;)
