Going Crazy

Ok, this TWW is killing me this time around. Every cramp I get I assume my period is coming, every twinge I get in my belly or my side I assume it's hurting my sweet loves. Ugggghhhh!! Only 4 more days to go until the blood draw. Four long and torturous days.

I do a lot better when I have company. My husband has worked half days for the last couple days which has been a blessing. But I'm afraid today and tomorrow I'm all on my own. I have been toying with the idea of taking a home pregnancy test but I'm scared to. What if it's negative but it's really a positive and then I convince myself I'm not pregnant. Or what if it's really a negative. Oy vei. Making babies is a stressful business.

Any of you our there take a PT at home before your blood draw? Did you get a positive? How early did you test? Any info would be helpful! :)

  1. I usually sneak in a HPT before the blood draw and I have never gotten a positive! I think that it helps me prepare for the news from the doctor! I would rather not cry while on the phone with them. I had my frozen embryo transfer yesterday and my blood test isn't until the 7th. I'm going to start testing on Monday (when the implantation should be complete) because I want to see the double line and watch it get darker! :)

    1. I was thinking of doing the same, testing the morning of my blood draw! I probably will do that, I'm just so nervous!

Yay!! I'm sending happy baby thoughts your way!!

  2. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't... just depends on my mood... if you can't hold out and you have a test at home, go for it!

  3. I used to have the same thought... what if it turns up negative but it's really positive. I rationalized with myself that I've I'm pregnant then I am... and a negative test won't make me unpregnant ;) if you do test early - I'd say use a First Response Early Result as they seem to be the most sensitive :)
